Over the counter regular soaps have long been criticised for aggravating skin conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis.
The challenge has been to create a natural soap which cleanses, is gentle on skin, can used in daily regular hand hygiene and therefore doesn’t dry out already vulnerable skin.
Dr Randle and Dr Drew of Skin Salveation made a breakthrough when they discovered a way of creating a soap which would be gentle on the skin while also delivering a vital ingredient – sodium silicate.
Sodium silicate is natural element known to heal damaged, dry and itchy skin. It is used by doctors to help treat burn victims and therefore can greatly benefit people who suffer dry, itchy, flakey skin conditions.
Skin Salveation’s eczema treatment soap is designed to lock in the natural moisture of the skin, stopping it from drying out and keeping it supple and less prone to cracking, flaking and itching.
The eczema treatment soap contains no vigorous cleansers or fragrances and its skin enriching quality greatly aids the process of repairing stressed sore skin, helping to treat eczema and psoriasis and many other skin conditions, including dermatitis.
Whilst it is for use cleansing in bathing and showering it is perfect for regular hand washing.
It gently cleanses whilst helping to lock in natural moisture, protecting the skin from further irritation.
This creates a protective, non-staining barrier, giving the skin a chance to repair itself.
